The weather has been breezy since we got to Saint Anne anchorage, but this evening was perfect for the barbecue, so it was dragged out of the aft locker and screwed to the rail. Roast chicken and roast vegetable skewers. Tasty with a drop of Rum and lime. Saint Anne is a big anchorage with lots of room and good holding. Five metres or a bit less in to the yellow exclusion bouys fine gluey sand and sparse stringy weed on the bottom. We dug in straight away and experienced some strong winds to test the holding. Dinghy in brings you to the Pirate Bar and a nice walk along the coast, or further afield the village with rubbish disposal, supermarkets, cash machine, open market and fish stall.
